Mickey/Ian

AN: This is a short drabble that I need to get out after watching the promo for 309.

Ian walks up to Mickey, finally tracking him down. Milkaviches are the hardest to find when they dont want to be found. Ian couldn’t believe what he had heard, Married. Mickey was getting married? What does that even mean? To who? Was Mickey seeing someone behind his back? As he walked up he couldn’t think of anything to start with instead he just blurted out, “Married? You’re getting married?”

Mickey turns to him and just shrugs and starts to walk away. “What the hell does that mean? Why wont you talk to me?!”

“Why? Why wont I talk to you? When the fuck do I ever talk to you about shit like this? I dont ever talk about anything! You know that!”

“I thought this time would actually be different.” Ian says, trying to defend an argument that was ust proven wrong. He just wants Mickey to be there, he cannot believe what hes hearing.

“You know why I didnt say a word to you? You left. You left me, basically fucking twice,. You want to talk about it? Fine. You werent there for me. You think I wanted that bitch on me? You wouldnt even fucking look at me! All I wanted was for you to look at me!”

Ian cuts him off. “i didnt want to look at that bitch fucking you!”

“Then you didnt have to look at her! You could have fucking looked at me! I needed you! I fucking needed you to just look at me, ket me know you were there! But no, you ficking looked away. You turned your back on me. So I did what I had to do. Then you turn your back on me a week later! Its not my fault you went there expecting something that you knew would never happen. You knew I wouldnt want to talk abou tthat shit. You want some guy thats gonna be a boyfriend. Someone who will be out and all that shit. So go find one. Im done with this shit.”

Ian was crushed, he looked up at Mickey with those sad eyes. That broken hearted look Mickey knew all too well. “I just…”

“You just nothing. I needed you and you turned your back on me. Why should I keep going with this shit? Risk all this shit for you when if I need you you wont be there? I might not have been holding your ass, petting your head, telling you things would be ok. But I was there when you had problems. You werent there for me. So Im done. If I marry this bitch I wont have to worry about shit.”

“….except that youre gay…” Ian said quietly. Mickey turned to him quick and gave him an uppercut straight to the gut. Ian falls to the ground coughing. He looks up to Mickey searching his eyes.

“Im not gay! Get the fuck away from me.”

“Mickey…” Ian looks up at him.

“Im done. Remember that? For good.” Mickey turns and starts walking away. Ian gets up with a cough, runs to Mickey grabbing his arm.

“Mickey dont do this. I…I need you…I love you.” He half expected Mickey to turn and swing on him. But nothing happened. He just stood there. “I walked away…I thought that you were going to shut me out again. I couldnt….I dont care if youll never be out. I dont care about all that. What weve been…before all that shit happened…it was great…it was actually perfect. Im sorry I hurt you. Im sorry Mickey…just please dont do this.”

“Have to…only way to get my dad off my back. Else he wont ever leave either of us alone.”

Ian watches Mickey for a min quiet, “weve been through a hell of a lot worse…”

Mickey gives him a small smirk letting Ian know things are starting to be ok between them. Ian loved that smirk. Other couples look for that big happy smile. But not Ian. He just looks for that small smirk to cross Mickey’s lips. He knew they’d be ok and free. Some day.

I feel so bad for them in this week’s scene, people complain about the length of the scene but it had so much depth in it. When he was raped by the Russian he looked to Ian for Support but all he saw was heartbreak and now he dare not look at him again for fear of seeing that look again or worse the same shame he feels.

Beautiful Boy drabble (let me know what you think)

AN: Always thought about writing a short drabble about Sam’s spirit wandering around his home the day of the shooting.

Summary: Sam’s spirit watches the aftermath of the shooting. Short. One shot. Not Rated….no reason to be.

Sam sits in his room. He had watched the FBI come into his home and tell his parent of the horrendous thing he had done earlier that morning. He had watched his father stare to the front door in silent shock. Sam had watched his mother breakdown to tears as they told her her only baby boy was gone. He couldn’t watch her expression when they told her what he had done. He had watched his mother scream at the agents.

“Liar!” She had screamed, tears running down her cheeks. She would never believe her baby would do such a thing. Even after they came into Sam’s room and ripped it apart, she would never believe them. Sam had watched them ransack his room. Why did Sam do this? How could he even think to do such a thing? Sam watched as his mother walked through the house all that day, in a trance. He knew she expected him to call home. He would call and say he was ok and it was exactly what she thought. That they misidentified her baby and he was on his way home. He knew what she wanted. But it would never come. Her baby was never coming home. He really had done something unspeakable, and no matter how many times the news would tell her so in the months to come, she would never believe her baby boy had done it.

Sam sits in his room watching his mother put his room back together. She was out of tears. All day she had cried. All day she had watched the door and held the phone. Sammy was coming home. He was going to call. She knew he would. There’s no way her baby was gone. This wasn’t happening. She only spoke when Sam’s father came to ask her what she was doing.

“Sammy’s going to be so upset when he gets home and sees his room this way…I can’t remember which shelves these books go on….he’ll be so upset…”

Sam sits in his room watching his mother watch him. She didn’t know he was there. Even with all her wishing and hoping that he was there she would never know that he was so close. She will always miss her baby. She will always blame herself. Sam watches his mother find some clothes he had left on the floor and curl up with them on his bed. She’s right next to him and she doesn’t even know it. He watches her and reaches out to touch her. She’s asleep by now. Dreaming of Sammy coming home. That everything was a lie…everything was a bad dream.

Sam watches his mother one last time. He has everything to say to her. He has no idea where to start. Everything to say to his mother….everything, but decides on the one most important thing. He lays next to her and watches her for a long time.

“I love you mom. I’ll always love you.”

Sam’s mother wakes up slowly, so groggy from her crying. She looks up and sees Sammy. She knew he wasn’t gone. He would never be gone.

“I love you too Sammy…”
She closed her eyes, seeing Sammy smile.
